The late Mrs. Georgia Farahkhan was born in Huntsville, Alabama on October 12, 1941, to the late John W. Battle and the late Sarah Battle. She was the second child of four children.  She had 3 sisters (Rachel Battle, Elizabeth Parks, and Katie Battle).

Georgia was a member of the Army Reserves where she served her country for years.

She then went on to work for the Daimler-Chrysler Plant of Huntsville, Alabama.  She retired after 20+ years of service.

She departed this life on December 15, 2020 at 7:45am.

She was preceded in death by her husband L.C. Farahkhan, her parents John and Sarah Battle, her son Harold Wayne Battle and her youngest sister Katie M Battle.

She leaves behind two sisters Rachel Battle and Elizabeth Parks and a brother-in-law Bobby Battle and an honorary sister Shirley West.  She also leaves behind one son James Earl Acklin and a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Graveside service for Mrs. Georgia B. Farahkhan will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Reverend Bobby Battle officiating.
