###
Celia "Dude" Comer Collins was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. God called her home on July 24, 2021 at the age of 77.
Celia was born in Fayetteville, Tennessee as the only child born to Henry David Comer and Lillian Humphrey Morgan. Growing up with two teachers, education was not taken for granted and her dad made sure she received no special treatment when she was in his class.
After graduating from Councill High School in Huntsville, Al, Celia attended Hampton University in Virginia where she met and married Samuel Hannibal. Together they had two children: Stanley and Ingrid. After their divorce in 1973, she married William Curtis Collins in May 1975 in Sumter, South Carolina.
Celia worked for the federal government until her retirement in 2000 in Dover, Delaware. Following her retirement, Celia and Curtis moved to Huntsville, Al to be nearby her family. In 2013 they then relocated to Perry, Ga to be closer to her daughter.
Celia is preceded in death by her father, Henry David Comer, her mother, Lilliam Humphrey Morgan and her husband, William Curtis Collins.
She is survived by her son Stanley Hannibal (Adela), her daughter Ingrid Floyd (Grady), her grandchildren Kristen Smith (Robert), Alanna Fitzpatrick, Kayla Hannibal and Saul Hannibal. Her great-grandchildren Donovan, Jamal, Julian, Lyriq and Enzo, her uncle Arnold Humphrey (Marilyn) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
