Stacey
Pleasure
Oct 31, 1978 — Jul 8, 2020
Stacey Lashay Pleasure , the second child of the late James Walter Pleasure and Sadie Turner Pleasure, was born October 31, 1978, in Huntsville, Alabama. He transitioned from this life on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. The date of his transition has significant remembrance because it was the date his father was born. Stacey confessed Christ as his Savior at an early age; joined Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church; and was baptized by the late Rev. L. F. Lacy. Growing with his oldest brother, Marlon, their parents instilled in them the values of education and work ethics and the importance of always living by the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you will have them do unto you."
Stacey graduated from Lee High School in Huntsville, Alabama. Following graduation from high school, he attended Alabama A&M University and participated in the Marching Maroon and White Band. He was a lover of music, and his unique talents and skills were exemplified through his creative rap music videos. His family and friends enjoyed his music. Stacey was a well-rounded, outgoing, charming, and humorous young man. He had so much vigor and vitality that --- even with a single encounter with him --- persons would remember him for life. Stacey loved people and people loved him, because he believed in helping others. He was a hardworking young man and worked in manufacturing at BASF.
His passing is mourned by many relatives and friends because of his engaging personality. He was preceded in death by his father, James Walter Pleasure. He is survived by his wife, Katrina Pleasure; children, daughter, Precious Lashay Pleasure; sons, Jaeshaun Lashay Pleasure, Jarquavious Lashay Farrior, and Adam Lashay Goodman; stepchildren, sons, Xavier Sanders, Jaylan Sanders, and Isaiah Sanders; granddaughters, Londyn Pleasure, Skylah Pleasure and Jalayah Pleasure; caring and loving mother, Sadie Turner Pleasure; one brother, Marlon Pleasure; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
