As an infant, Edward was dedicated to the Lord at the Memorial Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Walter L. Harper. At Memorial Tabernacle M. B. Church, Edward began developing a passion for the Lord as a member of the youth choir and Junior Usher Board. At the age of 6, he accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized on May 25, 1989 at the Memorial Tabernacle M. B. Church under the leadership of Rev. Walter L. Harper. As Edward continued to faithfully serve the Lord, he accepted his calling into the ministry. Edward received his Minister License from Pastor Walter L. Harper in 2001.

Among his friends, "The KINGDOM CREW", Edward will be cherished for his love, voice of reason, his wisdom, counsel, and his unique sense of humor.
