Mary Hughes Jones passed away peacefully at her home on March 14th, 2015. Born January 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Hughes, SR. and Eliza Hughes. Mary was preceded in death by her six brothers Thomas Hughes, Jessie Hughes Jr., JD Wagner, Johnnie Hughes, Houston Hughes, James Hughes and one sister, Martha Hughes. Mary was the loving wife of 59 years to retired Army Master Sergeant Willie B. Jones of Alexandria, VA. She was the loving mother to Carolyn D. Jones, two granddaughters Latasha D. Huffman & Rochelle M. Palmer Jones, one great-granddaughter Stephanie Anastasia Huffman and one great-grandson Michael Javon McGriff. Mary was a wonderful woman who was loved by countless friends and extended family; she will truly be missed. While stationed at Ft. Benning, GA she was an Eastern Star Member.
