Obituary

Josephine Clark was born March 25, 1943, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late A.W. Brooks, Sr, and Goldia Brooks. She transitioned to her eternal heavenly home on Wednesday, September 2, 2021, at the age of 78.

On December 16, 1967, Josephine was joined in matrimony to the late Pastor/Prophet Rudy H. Clark in Chicago, Illinois, and to this union two daughters. They were Pastor & Co-Pastor of the Miracle Deliverance Outreach Ministries where they ministered to the sick and fed the homeless.

Josephine loved research and was an educated woman who obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Masters of Science in Management, and Masters of Business Administration. She became the author of several books about her spiritual experiences and journey. She overcame many obstacles in her life making her a living testimony.

Our mom was funny, hardworking, and full of life. She devoted her life to her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her happiness came from spending time with her family, traveling, and helping others. She was well known in Moreno Valley, California, and Huntsville, Alabama as the "coffee lady" at almost every Mapco Fueling Station. Mom's favorite thing was feeding the poor in her spare time.

Josephine was a devoted wife, evangelist, author, caregiver, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Felecia (Jerome) Eddins of Huntsville, AL, and Valorie (Glenn, Sr.) Baker of Moreno Valley, CA; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Malchan (Sharlean) Brooks, Sr. and sister, Betty Jean Dubois; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
