Willie Johnson, Jr. the son of the late Willie Tyrone Johnson, Sr. and Earline Oliver, was born on December 27, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois at Cook County Hospital.  He accepted Christ as his personal Savior in 2009.

Willie moved to Huntsville, Alabama from Chicago, Illinois in December 1999.  He was a master presser in the dry-cleaning business which he enjoyed doing since the age of seventeen.  He was fond of fishing, hunting, camping, and spending social time with family and friends.  He departed this life at 10:52 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in Huntsville Hospital.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Batovayah of Minneapolis, MN and Teresa of Chicago, IL; one brother, Rollie "Punkin" Johnson, Jr. and one sister, Earline "Shug" Johnson Hubbard both of Huntsville, AL; one brother-in-law, Cornell (Alexis) Hubbard; one sister-in-law, Pauletta Johnson; one aunt, Lucy B. Joyner of Memphis TN; three uncles, John Hoskins of Youngstown, OH, Dennis Ferrell of Memphis, TN and Earl Gene Joyner of Hernando, MS; three nieces, Traminka L. Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tanjaneek L. Jones of Chicago, IL, and Cierra E. Johnson of Chicago, IL; three great-grand nieces; one great-grand nephew; and a host of cousins and friends.

Graveside service for Mr. Willie Johnson, Jr. will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
