On Thursday, February 17, 2022 God called our beloved William Bone, Jr. home. William was born on April 9, 1958, to Virginia Ruth Leslie-Bone and the late William Bone, Sr. in Huntsville, AL.

William attended Ed White Middle School and J. O. Johnson High School, where he was a kicker with the football teams.

He then attended J. F. Drake Technical School where he studied drafting. He loved sketching and drawing.

Later he married the love of his life, Brenda Downey (Bone).  They both attended the Rock Family Worship Center.  They loved each other so much!

William is preceded in death by: his father, William Bone, Sr.; his brother Gregory Leon Bone; and his sister, Brenda Yvonne Bone-Benning.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Brenda Downey-Bone; his precious mother, Virginia Ruth Leslie Bone; his sister Joyce Bone-Kennamore (Anthony) of Converse, TX; his younger brother, Albert Bone; and a host of step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends that adored him and that loved him dearly.

Funeral service for Mr. William Bone, Jr. will be Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Timothy Rainey officiating.  Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
