Funeral service for Mr. Tony A. Battle will be Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Northwest Church of Christ with Brother John Branch officiating - (5008 Pulaski Pike - Huntsville, AL 35810).

Mr. Toney Andrew Battle was born to the late Jacob Battle, Jr. and Lossie Mae Battle on October 27, 1959. Mr. Battle was called to rest from this life on October 29, 2024 at his home.

He was a 1978 graduate of J.O Johnson High School. He began his career at J.F. Drake State Technical College. Following retirement from J.F. Drake, he became a professional painter. he continued painting until his health declined. Toney was known as one of the greatest football and basketball coaches in North Huntsville.

Mr. Battle departed from this life on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at his home.

He was preceded in death by one brother: George Battle; two sisters: Betty Ann Stoudmire and Juanita Hill; four aunts: Mrs. Ethel Jones, Ms. Evelyn Hill, Mrs. Catherine Battle, and Dorothy Reid, as well as four uncles, Mr. Lawson Hill, Jr., Mr. James Earl Hill, Mr. Oscar Hill, and Mr. John Hill. Additionally, a very special friend, Rosa Marie Bradford.

He leaves his cherishing love and memories with: one daughter: Monique R. Brazille of Huntsville, Alabama; step-daughter, Takesha Hinton-Offurum (Robert) of Monrovia, MD; devoted brother: James Battle (Catherine) of Harvest, AL; a very special niece, Deborah Mouzon-Tyler (Alfred) of New Market, AL; cherished aunt: Grace Lacy of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Cedric Brazille, Jr, of Birmingham, AL, and Kameron and Kelsee Brazille, both of Huntsville, Alabama; two step-grandchildren, Pierre Hinton of Huntsville, Alabama and Chimezie Offurum of Switzerland; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will cherish his untiring love for each of them in their own special way.
