Mr. Thomas Lamont Burton was born on February 8, 1974, to the late Tommy Burton and Delores Ann Bishop Burton. He departed this life, Thursday July 25, 2024.

Thomas accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was a member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted father and son. He loved family, always laughing, joking, lending a listening ear and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Burton, uncles, Jimmy Burton, Riley Burton, Richard J. Bishop, Charlie Bishop, Tribble R.B. Bishop, Lowransy "Kite" Bishop, Milton Bishop and great-aunt, Francis Sigmond.

He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Heaven Amara Burton of Huntsville, AL; mother, Delores Ann Burton of Huntsville, AL; brother, Cody Davis of Huntsville, AL; sister, Mary Smith of Huntsville, AL; three uncles, Jerry (Elizabeth) Townsend of Huntsville, AL, Mark Bishop of Huntsville, AL and Floyd (Lisa) Bishop of Lorraine, OH; four aunts, Catherine Jackson, Alberta Bishop, Minister Adrline "Angie" Bishop, and Wilma J. Bishop all of Huntsville, AL.

Funeral service for Mr. Thomas Lamont Burton will be Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Jerry Townsend, officiating.

Public viewing for Mr. Burton will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. -8:00 P.M. in the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
