BIOGRAPHY

Reverend Elijah Pincheon departed his life on December 21, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital.

Elijah was born on October 8, 1934 to the late Reverend Earnest and Mary Alice Pincheon in Madison County Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his sister Gracie Sales and Mary Leslie, brothers Levi Pincheon, Ery Pincheon, Gravis Pincheon, and Joel Pincheon.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 63 years, Mother Mary Louise Pincheon;  his sons Jeffery (Renee) Pincheon of Ronake Rapids, NC, James (Bobbie Jo) Pincheon and four daughters Debra (Eugene) Scruggs, Eloise Pincheon, Doris Pincheon, and Cecilia (Leroy) Walton.  A brother Robert Pincheon Two sisters Dora Pincheon and Fannie Louise Baker.  He was a proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives to cherish his memory..  He was also a spiritual counselor to three God daughters, Mary Bonner, Jennelle Jones and Tracy Clemons and a longtime friend Reverend Michael Helton.

Reverend Pincheon was loved by many and will truly be missed.

Funeral service for The Reverend Elijah Pincheon will be Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 12:00 at the House of Hope and Restoration with Pastor Jarman Leatherwood officiating.  Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.  Reverend Pincheon will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
