Funeral service for Miss Tale'a Breone Turner will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. from Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church (Dan Crutcher Road, Toney,) with Rev. Derrick Young, eulogist and Rev. Ernest Williams, officiating. Interment will follow at Tibbs Cemetery. Miss Turner will lie in repose at Mt. Zion one hour prior to funeral service time.

Public viewing will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 12:30PM-7:00PM at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home.

Miss Tale'a Turner is preceded in death by her mother, LaTrece S. Turner and grandfather, Deacon Henry R. Turner, Jr.

Miss Tale'a "Tae Tae" Breone Turner

Our beloved, Miss Tale'a "Tae Tae" Breone Turner was born on June 15, 1999, to the late LaTrece S. Turner of Toney, Alabama. She was the first child of Trece and took her role as the first to heart. She departed this life on Monday, May 26, 2025, at Madison Hospital.

At the tender age of 6, Tale'a accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was added to the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church family in Toney, Alabama.

In May 2017, Tale'a graduated from Sparkman High School in Harvest, Alabama. Tale'a enjoyed basketball, softball, travelling and spending time with loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her mother, LaTrece S. Turner and her grandfather, Deacon Henry R. Turner, Jr.

Those who will forever cherish her memories are, first and foremost, her sister: Tamea B. Turner (Toney, AL); her grandmother, Mother Mildred S. Turner (Toney, AL); two aunts, LaToya A. (Greg) Whitsett (New Market, AL) and Laranda M. Turner (Toney, AL); her uncle, Jevon D. (Suzanne) Turner (Athens, AL); her cousins, Jevon D. (Sarah) Turner (Decatur, AL), Ania M. Turner (Toney, AL), Joseph Whitsett, Jameson Whitsett, and Jaxon Whitsett (all of New Market, AL), and Alivia S. Hammonds (Toney, AL); a devoted friend, Dominque Henley (Madison, AL), and a host of family and friends.
