Stanley Lee "Stitches" Parker was born on March 4, 1962, to the late Mattie Gideon Parker.  He transitioned from this life on January 18, 2022. Stanley was a graduate from Bob Jones High School.  He confessed hope in Christ at an early age.

Preceding him in death are: his mother, Mattie Gideon Parker; sister Mary Ann Parker; sister Minnie Warren; and sister Annette Parker.

Stanley left a mark on everyone he encountered.  There was never a dull moment with him.  He was the life of the party and he always told it like it was.  He was a great father, loving brother, and a wonderful uncle to a lot of people.  Stanley was always down for a fishing trip.  He loved being outdoors the most.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Crystal (Keundre) Matthews and Nakita Waddle; three brothers, James Earl Parker (Lillian), Willie Eddie Parker, George Parker; three sisters, Linda Parker, Earnestine Parker, and Cortina Parker; one uncle, Oliver Lee Gideon (Minnie); two aunts, Tometta Rice and Earline Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service for Mr. Stanley Lee Parker will be Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Dennis Green officiating.
