Saleem Hasan Magwood Sr. departed this life for his eternal life on August 21, 2022. He was born to Donald Taylor and Annie G. Magwood on November 20, 1979. Saleem was a graduate of Moss Point High School. He was also a reservist in the National Guard. Saleem was employed at Matsu Alabama Inc in Huntsville, Al.

Saleem was married to Cleopatra Magwood of Gautier, MS. From this union Saleem Magwood Jr., was born. Saleem was a hard worker; he was a big kid at heart who always smiled and played around. It was never a dull moment when he was around.

He was welcomed into heaven by his wife, Cleopatra Magwood; his bonus son, Dimitrick Mims; and grandparents, Gene and Annie Crawley.

He leaves to cherish his memories: loving and devoted mother, Annie Magwood of Brooklyn, NY; son, Saleem Magwood Jr. affectionally known as "M.J." of Huntsville, AL; bonus daughter, Qianna Cunningham of Huntsville, AL; sister, Denise (Martin) Hubbard of Pascagoula, MS; mother-in-law, Grace Dortch of Gulfport, MS; brother-in-law, Robert Bright of FL; a devoted friend, known as "Q" of Huntsville, AL; devoted cousins, Adrian Gray of Dothan, AL and Desi Brown of Salt Lake City, UT; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
