Funeral service for Mrs. Ruth Ann Barley Thompson of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Huntsville, Alabama, will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Center Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Anthony Thompson of Uplift Christian Fellowship, Los Angeles, California as the eulogist. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Mrs. Thompson will lie in repose at Center Grove U.M. Church one hour prior to funeral service time.

Visitation with the family will be held Friday, March 20, 2026 from 3:00 PM- 6:00 PM at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home.

Public viewing for Mrs. Ruth Ann Barley Thompson will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM-7:00 PM at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home.
