Rosie Marie Humphrey-Brazelton , transitioned Easter Sunday April 17, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital.

Rosie was born June 8, 1960 in Lincoln County, Tennessee and was raised in Madison County, Alabama. Rosie Brazelton loved the Lord and was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. She was educated in the Madison County Schools System and graduated from Buckhorn High School in 1978. She attended Alabama A&M University, Johnsons and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island and graduated from Essex Community College in Baltimore, Maryland with a degree in Hospitality in 1994.

She received her certification from the J. W. Marriott Hotel in Washington, D. C. as a Pastry Chef and has worked in major hotels and restaurants in: Nashville, TN; Washington, DC; and Baltimore, MD.

She is preceded in death by: her son, David Brazelton, Jr.; father, Jeff Humphrey; grandparents, John and Mandy Petty; and sister Valarie Humphrey.

Rosie is survived by: her mother, Jane Mary Humphrey; daughters, Rosie Marie Brazelton and Jayne Marie Brazelton; granddaughters, Raven and Aaliyah Rose Brazelton; grandson, Xavier Brazelton; brother, Jerry (Betty) Humphrey; two sisters, Lisa Humphrey and Lourie (Marcus) Bradley; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,  nephews and cousins.
