Robert L. Parker began his earthly journey on April 9, 1939 to the late Obie Parker and Lillian Steger-Parker in Madison County, Alabama.  On February 23, 2021 Robert L. Parker shed his earthly garment and transcended shouting into the arms of the Master.

Robert Lewis was preceded in death by his siblings: Eleanor Smith, Ruth Ellis, Zenobia Walls, George Parker, Lenier Parker, and Howard Parker.

Robert confessed hope in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at an early age.

He leaves to cherish his memories: beloved wife for 60 years Peggy Joyce Parker; three children, Kathy Ricks, Robert Leon Parker, and Anthony Parker; three sisters, Helen Newell, Geneva Jones and  Elizabeth Parker; three brothers, Bobby Parker, Leonard Parker and Williams Parker; one brother-in- law,  Bishop Jerry Ford; four sisters-in-law, Evangelist Paulette Collier, Evangelist Mary Coleman, June Acklin, Lucy Parker; three grandchildren, Michael W. Ricks, Anthony Marcus Parker, Jr., and Felecia Parker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Graveside service for Mr. Robert Louis Parker will be Friday, March 5, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
