Nadean W. Collier was born to the late Edward Martin Woods and Gladys Sisk Woods on September 29, 1950.

She confessed her hope in Christ at an early age in life and served the Lord until her health declined. She was a member of Zion Progress M. B. Church.

Nadean attended nursing school and became an RN – ALPN Nurse. She worked at Huntsville Hospital for 30 years then she went on to become an assistant in surgery for Dr. Yu for 10 years before returning to Huntsville Hospital where she worked 15 more years and retired.

She married the late Floyd Collier, Jr. and to this union three beautiful children were born.  Preceding her in death are: her husband; one daughter, Deanna Leigh Collier; and six siblings.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: one daughter, Belinda (Patrick) Collier and one son, Antonious Collier both of Huntsville, AL; three grandchildren, DeAndre, Brittany and Nicholas; four sisters, Eddie Mae Baker, Birdie Lee (Willie Lee) Montague both of New Market, AL, Mildred Joyce (Shelby) Pope and Willie Jo Hereford both of Huntsville, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service for Mrs. Nadean Woods Collier will be Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
