Celebration of Life for Ms. Rebecca Jamerson will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.  

Rebecca Ann "Tina" Jamerson was the fifth of thirteen children born to Willie and Corene McGregor Gold on April 17, 1940, in Clarksville, Tennessee. She left for eternal glory on July 23, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Jamerson, Jr; her sons: Andre and Rodney; daughter: LaTonya; eleven (11) siblings and her beloved parents.

She is survived by her daughter: Angela (James) McGinnis of Huntsville, Alabama; son: Alfonso Jamerson of Orlando, Florida; brother: ROnald (Barbara) Gold of Kokomo, Indiana; five grandchildren: Brandon, Deavin, James, Sierra, and Destiny; a great-grandchild: Gaia. She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, and a very special niece, Katina Wade (George) Willie.

She was a devoted wife and mother who brought joy to those around her with her fiery personality and quick wit. During her beautiful life she lived in multiple including Korea, Japan, and Germany where she left her imprint on so many lives. She retired from JC PEnny in May 2003 after more than 20 years of service. She was also an avid bowler who showed a passion for the game for than fifty (50) years and held her fellow bowling league members in high esteem wherever she enjoyed the sport.
