Montrae Renée Gloster
Montrae Renée Gloster, born on July 9, 1988. As a young girl, Montrae always had a zest for life. From her beautiful vivacious smile, to her loving and warm personality. Throughout Montrae's life, she had always had a passion to be great and live a life fulfilled with love and light. Selfless as they come, Montrae never hesitated to go above and beyond for anyone. In the year of 1993, she began her first year of school at Linden Elementary for a year and then Rolling Hills Elementary for the remaining duration.
Throughout her transition of going from elementary to middle school, she then was diagnosed with lupus at the age of 10. At the brink of her diagnosis her lupus began attacking her kidneys immediately, but with love and support she continue to persevere.
As life continued, she then began only her middle school years at ASFL/Davis Hills and completed seventh and eighth grade year at Chapman Middle School. Within the 7th to 8th grade year, she became a member of the Nu Image dance team, coached by Joyce Jones.
Outside of her passion for beauty, she loved to dance and be in the spotlight. Continuing her talents, she began her high school years at Robert E. Lee, where she then graduated in the year of 2006.
Balancing her illness and school never deterred Montrae from what she felt like was her calling. Years later, she attended Virginia College, where she got her degree in cosmetology. She really had a passion for hair and beauty and love making people feel their best. Such a beautiful and kindred spirit, Montrae always kept a smile on her face, despite her struggles. We will truly miss the thrive of life Montrae had and so much more. You may be gone, but never forgotten. A very loving sister, daughter, auntie and an impeccable friend.
She was preceded in death by: father, Gerald Gloster; nephew, Tori Gloster; and great nephew, Treasure Harris Beverly.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: mother, Beverly Hayles; sisters: Mia Hayles, Cassandra Weakley- Dawson, Alicia Gloster and Jayla Dawson; brother, Terry Gloster; nieces: Jaleesah Weakley, Jayeeah Dawson, Ranesha Gloster, and Latara Gloster; nephews: Jayden Dawson, Jaheim Dawson and Terry Gloster, Jr.; and great nephew, Braylon Weakley-Hayes.
