Monica Lynette Coleman Robinson was born July 29, 1974, to Earline Robinson and the late Willie B. Coleman. She gained her wings April 7, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital.
Monica accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She was a faithful member of Faith, Hope, and Love. Monica loved the Lord and during times of illness, she was happy and praised the Lord. Monica had a smile that would light up any room. To know her was to love her.
Monica was educated in the Huntsville City Schools system. She received her clerical certificate from the Alabama Skills Center and also received a degree in business at J. F. Drake State Community and Technical College. She was employed by Phoenix Services on Redstone Arsenal.
Monica was preceded in death by: her father, Willie B. Coleman; sister, Dekreshia Robinson; grandmothers, Martha Leslie Crawford, and Annie B. Coleman; grandfathers, Larry McCaulley and Willie Coleman; stepfather, Carl Robinson; one favorite aunt, Margaret Ford; uncles, Gregory McKinley, Charles McKinley, Steven Leslie, Larry Coleman, Robert Lee Coleman, and Thomas Coleman, all of Huntsville, AL.
Monica leaves to cherish her memories: one, son, Darius (Tori) Coleman of Ft. Campbell, KY; two daughters, MaKayla and Makiayah Rice of Madison, AL; four grandchildren, Jordan, Jada, Darius Coleman, Jr., and Buddy Rice (grandpuppy); mother, Earline Robinson of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Shanta Coleman of Huntsville, AL; one stepsister, Sharon Robinson of Huntsville, AL; one god sister, Ebony (Ceania) McNab; one dedicated niece, Jayla Robinson; one nephew, Jarquez Coleman, Sr. of Huntsville, AL; special nephew, Jarquez Coleman, Jr.; aunts, Angela (Michael) Woods, Lossie Coleman Fletcher, Sarah Jefferson of Huntsville, AL, Tanvlyn Peoples McKinley, and Ollie Collins of Madison, AL; three uncles, Billie Leslie, Terry Leslie, and John (Daphne) Wayne McKinley of New Market, AL; special cousin, Wanda Rice Hilleary; best friend, Anita Rice; a host of cousins, family, and friends.

Funeral service for Ms. Monica L. Robinson will be Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Big Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church with Pastor Jeffery Jefferson officiating. Ms. Robinson will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to funeral service. Interment will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace.
