Mr. Maurice Brandon was born in Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama on December 22, 1950.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Daniel and Anna Mae Anderson Brandon; wife, Carrie J. Brandon; son, Brian T. Smith; granddaughter, Katasha Turner; brothers, Larry Brandon and Joe Willie Brandon; and sister, Betty J. Fletcher.

He served as a U. S. Marine and received an honorable discharge.  He worked at   Crestwood Hospital as an EVS Assistant until he became ill.

Maurice is survived by: his children, Sherrill Mastin (Carl), Nikki Eromosele (Abel), Dunia Roberts, Corey Smith, and Jemel Young (Rocheal); siblings, Franklin    Brandon, Larry Brandon, Joe Willie Brandon, Daniel Brandon, James C. Smith (Katie), Ray C. Fletcher and Doris Stewart; a special cousin, Rocheal Taft; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Maurice Brandon will be Friday, December 10, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
