Wife of Charles Martin and daughter of Benny and Mattie Mae Mitchell went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 12, 2020.

Mary Mitchell Martin was preceded in death by her husband Charles Martin; her brothers Benny Jr. "Duck", Frank and Willie Mitchell; and her parents Benny and Mattie Mae Mitchell.

Mary Mitchell Martin was a member of Union Chapel M. B. Church. She retired from HealthSouth in Huntsville, AL after over 20 years.

She is survived by: her siblings, Fannie Mitchell, Ruth (Charles) Watts, and Leona (Mitchell) George of Detroit, MI; Joe (Madelyn) Mitchell and Ernest Mitchell of Birmingham, AL; Paul Michell of Orville, AL; Lena Mitchell of Houston, TX; Willie Mae Harris of Mobile, AL; and Yvonne Mitchell of Houston, TX; a devoted cousin, Willie Pullom; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Public Viewing for Mrs. Mary Martin will be Friday, December 18, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
