Mario Latreze Montague was born July 21, 1990 to the late Sherell Montague. He departed this life on Earth and gained his wings on October 14, 2022 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, AL.

Mario confessed hope in Christ and was baptized at an early age. He was a member of Gravitt Chapel AME Church.

Mario was known for his contagious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit. His pleasant personality and sense of humor was contagious to everyone he met. He was loved and adored by all who knew him.

Mario leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife, Lakeya Montague; one aunt, Barbara Montague of New Market, AL; four uncles, Charles (Peggy) Walker of Huntsville, AL, Carl (Sharon) Montague of Detroit, MI, James (Tina) Montague of Giessen, Germany and Mickey Montague of Huntsville, AL. We love you and will miss you dearly!

Funeral service for Mr. Mario L. Montague will be Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Wallace McCormick, Officiant.  Interment: Hambrick Cemetery
