Obituary

Mrs. Linda Faye Leslie was born May 19, 1953 to the late Tommy Jefferson and the late Rosa Lee Jefferson Keith. She departed this life on January 2, 2022 at her home in Huntsville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Lee Jefferson Keith and her father, Tommy Jefferson; three brothers, Irving Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson, and Moses Burt.

She confessed hope in Christ at an early age at Blackburn Chapel C. P. Church under the leadership of Pastor McKinley Jones. She was a member of the No.1 choir and the Voices of Praise.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted husband, Lebron Leslie of Huntsville, AL; four children, Tina (Robert) Davis, Edward (Tara) Leslie, Yolanda Jennings, and Jennifer (Victor) Phillips; six grandchildren, Travian, Cynthia, Edward, Jr. (Dymond), Jasmine, Nicholas, and Brandon; six great grandchildren, Edward III, Jai'Sun, Eason, Derek, Nasir, and Nyla; one sister, Tometta Goode; one brother, Thurman (Willie Mae) Jefferson; one brother-in-law, Kyle Leslie; mother-in-law, Susie K. Leslie; two aunts, Carlean Robinson and Ernestine Common; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Graveside service for Mrs. Linda Leslie will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with Pastor Tremaine D. Snodgrass officiating.

Public Viewing:  Friday, January 7, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
