Mrs. Leona McCrary was born in Huntsville, AL, December 24, 1935 to the late Eddie Smith and Mary Holden.

She is preceded in death by: her two daughters, Betty Jo Fletcher and Carrie Jean Brandon; and two grandsons, Brian Tyrell Smith and Damon Lamont Fletcher.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving daughter, Doris Stewart (Terrell); loving son and daughter-in-law, James Smith (Katie); four sisters, Mildred Bell, Shirley Patton, Sally Patton (Porter), Beadie Mae Wilks (Charles); two brothers, Amos Smith and Jimmy Lee Smith (BB); three grandsons, Quinton Jaquez Smith, Corey Cordell Smith and Delvin Jermaine Fletcher; three granddaughters, Reniece Ford, Nickeia Eromosele (Abel), and Shanika Fletcher of Chicago, IL; three great granddaughters; six great grandsons; five great-great granddaughters; and two great-great grandsons.

Graveside service for Mrs. Leona S. McCrary will be Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with Brother John Branch offiiating.
