Juanita McCaulley Booker entered this world on March 21, 1948, in Madison County, Alabama. She was the second of ten children of Lenard Gus and Wavon Minor McCaulley. Juanita was fondly known as "Dookie" to all who loved her. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and until her illness was a faithful member of Union Hill Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Oscar L. Montgomery, Sr.
Juanita met the love of her life in James Edward Booker. They were joined in holy matrimony On May 9, 1988. She had five sisters and seven brothers on her biological father's side.
Juanita departed this life on November 20, 2020. Preceding her in death are: her parents, Lenard Gus and Wavon Minor McCaulley; her biological father, Walter Fearn; three brothers, Robert McCaulley, Lenard McCaulley and Esau McCaulley, Sr.; three sisters, Carrie McCaulley Bone, Linda Fay McCaulley, and Brenda McCaulley Ray; and one nephew, Jerry Wayne Humphrey, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her husband, James Edward Booker of Huntsville, AL; one daughter, Bariesa McCaulley of Huntsville, AL; three grandchildren, Eric McCaulley, Shawn McCaulley and Ciara McCaulley, all of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Maggie Walker and Annie King, both of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Steve McCaulley of Huntsville, AL; six nephews, Anthony (Donna) McCaulley, Johnny (Brenda) McCaulley, Marcus Walker of Huntsville, AL, Esau Daniel (Mandy) McCaulley, Jr. of Wheaton, IL, CoyLe Bone, Brandon Ted McCaulley, of Huntsville, AL; nine nieces, Shirley McCaulley-Robinson of Huntsville, AL, Sharon (Johnathan) Linvsey of Jacksonville, NC, Demetric McCaulley, Stephanie (Micheal) Ackin, LaTasha (Dave) Lewis of New Orleans, LA, LaTrisha McCaulley Smith, Marketha McCaulley Bailey, Shantina McCaulley and Ashley McCaulley all of Huntsville, AL; six brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law; a host of other family members, including great-nieces, great-great nieces, cousins, friends, and a special sister-in-love, Laurie Bone McCaulley of Huntsville, AL

will be Friday, November 27, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Oscar L. Montgomery, Sr. officiating.
