The Legacy of Life:

Josephine Ann Wilson was born on October 7, 1949 in Pontiac, Michigan to John Claudius Wilson and Tommie Mae (Patterson) Wilson.  Preceding her in death were: her parents; brother, William James Wallace of Camden, New Jersey; two great grandchildren; and her special childhood friend, Linda Carrington of Pontiac, Michigan.

The Legacy of Faith:

Josephine received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour at an early age at Macedonia Baptist Church in Pontiac, Michigan. She continued serving her Lord throughout her adulthood and after relocating to Huntsville, Alabama, she became an active member of Deliverance Outreach Worship Center, until health challenges prevailed. Josephine was instrumental in founding a weekly Bible study for her family which grew to include members from; Georgia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, and Michigan. She enjoyed learning about God's word.

The Legacy of Education:

Josephine graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1967 and furthered her education by obtaining an Associate Degree from the Pontiac Business Institute.

The Legacy of Family:

Josephine leaves to celebrate her life and carry on her legacy, children, Sonja R. Wilson and Louis C. Wilson; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; siblings, Captain Henry C. Wallace of Pontiac, MI, Saddru Din Mateen (Patricia) of Lancaster, PA, and Reverend Dawn (Wilson) Harmon, Mount Joy, PA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, church family and friends, including special babysitting friend Mason.

Graveside service for Ms. Josephine Ann Wilson will be Friday, November 19, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Valley View Memory Gardens with the Reverend Dawn Harmon officiating.
