Funeral service for Mr. John Stanley McCaulley (a native of Huntsville, AL) will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Foster Watkins, III officiating.  Interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Mr. John Stanley McCaulley was born February 10, 1958 in Huntsville, Alabama, the second of five children born to Mr. Ollie McCaulley and the late Mrs. Lucy Mary McCaulley. He departed this life at Palmdale Regional Medical Center August 18, 2022.

He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and attended  St. Mark Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. He is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Survivors who will cherish his loving memories include his father Ollie McCaulley of Huntsville, Alabama, one brother Dr. Ollie M. McCaulley and Mrs. Aurora-Gonzales McCaulley of Palmdale, California, two nieces, Susanna Mary Gonzales-McCaulley, Jade Gonzales-McCaulley, three nephews, Ollie Robert Gonzales-McCaulley, Freddrick McCaulley, Courtney McCaulley, and host of cousins and friends.

God said you were getting weary

So he did what he thought was best.

He came and stood beside you

And whispered, "Come to rest."

You bade no one a last farewell

Not even a goodbye.

You were gone before we knew it

And only God knows why.
