Jo e Harris, Jr. , 39 of Huntsville, Alabama departed this life on June 15, 2021. Joe, Jr . was the son of Joe Willie Harris, Sr. and Linda Rice Harris, born on June 8, 1982.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Joe Willie Harris, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Major Rice, Sr. and Bertha Rice; and uncles, Major Rice, Milton Rice, James Tony, and Tommy Lee Rice.

Joe, Jr. joined Antioch Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Gregory Smith at an early age. Joe was loved by everyone that had the opportunity to meet him. Joe's infectious smile, big hugs, and lovable personality will forever be missed. Joe loved his family and his family truly loved him.

Those who will forever cherish his memories are: his daughters, Lytalia Hyter and KeAsia Harris, both of Huntsville, AL; son, Ke'aunta Harper of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren; a loving mother, Linda Rice Harris; four sisters, JoAnn (John) Towns, Becky (Howard) Pinchon, Jolanda Harris, and Terri (Jimmy) Jones, all of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Alonzo Lamar Harris of Huntsville, AL; four nephews; twelve nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Joe Harris, Jr. will be Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Syler Tabernacle with Pastor Timothy Townsend officiating.  Interment will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace.  Mr. Harris will be  placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
