Ms. Jeanette Johnson Granberry was born on June 12, 1956 in Flint, Michigan. The daughter of Mr. Andrew and Mrs. Annie Dale (Haddley) Johnson, Sr., Jeanette was a graduate of Flint Northern High School's "Class of 1974". She was a member of People's Community Missionary Baptist Church of Flint Michigan, where she served as head of the Kitchen Committee. Jeanette retired after serving 38 years as a Pharmacy Technician with St Joseph Hospital, and Genesis Regional Medical Center, where she was awarded the Pharmacy Career Achievement Award.
Jeanette loved spending time with family, listening to music, watching movies, joking and gesturing. She loved good food, and communicating with others. She loved horses and horseback riding. She loved going roller skating. She also enjoyed shopping and spending time at the beach. Jeanette's warm and caring heart and beautiful spirit has touched so many lives.
Ms. Granberry was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. Andrew and Mrs. Annie Dale Johnson, Sr.; three sisters, Ms. Donice Overton, Mrs. Ruby Means, and Ms. Barbara McLemore; five brothers, Mr. Dale Overton, Mr. Dave Overton, Mr. Eddie Lee Overton, Mr. Dewayne Overton, and Mr. Daniel Overton; and two brothers-in-law, Mr. Richard Clemons and Mr. T.J. Bauswell.
Jeanette Granberry leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Andereeanna Jeanette Granberry of Huntsville, AL; brother, Mr. Andrew (Demoncia) Johnson, Jr., of Houston TX; sisters, Mrs. Delorse Bauswell, of Grand Rapids, MI, Mrs. Jackie Clemons of Jacksonville, AL, and Mrs. Venisa (Gregory) Hearn of Hazel Green, AL; one grandchild, Parecee Hall of Charlotte, NC; special friends, Ms. Pamela Taylor, Ms. Mary Kirbitz, and Jill Lawson; and a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Jeanette Granberry will be Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Ricky Sykes officiating.
