Hazel Daniell Hawk, affectionally known as " Dani" was born December 12, 1982, in Huntsville, Alabama, to the late Luther King and Bernice Hawk. She professed her hope in Christ at an early age, a faith that guided her throughout her life.

Daniell was a dedicated athlete playing softball and basketball for four years at Hazel Green High School before graduating in 2001. She also played in different softball leagues in her community. She perused her academic passions in economics, studying at Columbia University and latter earning her bachelor's degree in economics from Spelman College in 2005.

With a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, Daniell built a successful career in economics and later became the owner and operator of HawkEyes Consulting with Intelligence, a resume and consulting business, She was most recently employed at Grant Leading Technology, where she continued to make and impact with her skills and expertise.

Daniell was preceded in death by: her father: Luther D. King; grandmother: Annie M. King; grandfathers: Arthur "Jake" Hawk and Luther King, and uncles: Leonard Hawk, Ralph Hawk, and Willie Cole.

Leaving to cherish her memory is: daughter: Phenix McIntyre of Atlanta, Georgia; mother: Bernice Hawk of Huntsville, Alabama; brothers: Boyle Hawk, Quienton Hawk, Jermain Jackson, and Draylon Simpson all of Huntsville, Alabama; sisters: Brandy King, Natasha Finley, Karen Langford, Meleah J. Robinson, and Kimberly Rheume all of Huntsville, Alabama; grandmother: Hazel Hawk of New Market, Alabama; aunts: Joann Hawk-Cole, Candies Moye, Patricia (James) Bradford, Deborah Drake, Marilyn King-Joran, and Nancy Hawk all of Huntsville, Alabama, Judith Scales and Karen (Ralph) Smith both of Dallas, Texas; uncles: Charles (Diane) Hawk, Marvin Hawk, and Ronnie White all of Huntsville, Alabama; a host of great uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Daniell will be deeply missed by her family, friends, co-workers, and all who had the special privilege of knowing her.

Funeral service for Miss Hazel Daniell Hawk will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Hopewell M.B. Church with Pastor Larry Davidson, officiating and Minister Bianca Pressley, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Miss Hawk will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
