Funeral service for Mrs. Florence A. Olugbode will be Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Redeemed Christian Church of God (4906 Blue Spring Road NW - Huntsville, AL 35810). Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
OBITUARY
Mrs. Florence Adejumoke Adejugbe Olugbode entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Olusola Olugbode. The daughter of the Late Prince Samuel Adepoju Adejugbe and Chief Mrs. Abigail Oyeyemi Adejugbe, Mrs. Olugbode was born on March 30, 1948 in Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. She was educated at Christ's School in Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. She later went on to attend Southwest London College, Tooting Broadway in London England. After graduating she joined her husband in Huntsville, AL to attend Alabama A&M University where she received her MBA in Accounting.
"Mama Bunmi" as they called her, was a devoted member of Redeemed Christian Church of God Jesus House Huntsville in Huntsville, AL. She was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a mother to all. She enjoyed cooking, going to church and spending time with her family and friends and she loved fashion! Ms. Olugbode will forever be remembered for her generosity and her kind spirit. She was loved by many.
Mrs. Olugbode is preceded in death by her husband Mr. Olusola Olugbode; her Father the Late Prince Samuel Adepoju Adejugbe; her mother Chief Mrs. Abigail Opeyemi Adejugbe and her brother Prince Adedotun Adejugbe. Her memory will forever be treasured by her two daughters; Mrs. Olubunmi Fasogbon (Oluwagbemi), of Newnan, GA; Ms. Bolanle Olugbode of Hazel Green, AL; her son, Mr. Oluwatosin Olugbode of Hazel Green, AL; her grandson Master Samuel Fasogbon of Newnan, GA; her five sisters Professor Mrs. Modupe Adelabu; Professor Mrs. Mojisola Oyerekua of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria; Rev. Olabisi Chukwudile of Tampa, FL; Ms. Adenike Adejugbe of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria; Dr. Ms. Badewa Adejugbe –Williams of Dallas, GA; her brother Prince Ayodeji Adejugbe of Los Angeles, CA; many god-children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
