God has blessed Evangelist Jacqueline Diane Briggs with 68 years of life. She was born in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Freddie and Mary E. Briggs on February 20, 1953.
Evangelist Jackie Briggs was baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Ghost. She enjoyed preaching and teaching. Her favorite words of encouragement were, "I am covered under the blood of Jesus; He holds me in the palm of His hand. I am blessed by the best and He's going to take care of the rest". During her life, she discovered her true calling and the love for Christ.
The ministries of Evangelist Jackie Briggs included : being a Certified Nursing Assistant; feeding the homeless; being a fierce prayer warrior; preaching and teaching Bible Study in the nursing homes; and she loved to bring the lost home to Christ.
Preceding her in death are: father, Freddie Briggs, Jr.; mother, Mary E. Townsend-Briggs; sister, Mary V. Briggs-Cartwright; son, Anthony D. Briggs; and grandson, Ezekiel L. Briggs.
Evangelist Jacqueline D. Briggs loved her family deeply. She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Sylvia R. Hawkins (Pastor Timothy Hawkins) of Madison, AL; three sons, Elijah L. Briggs, Marcus D. Briggs, and adopted son, Quentin D. Briggs, all of Huntsville, AL; four sisters, Dorothy J. Hill, Joyce A. Lester, Evangelist Lula M. Ford, and Janice Gideon; three granddaughters, Porsher Diane Briggs, Precious R. Briggs, and Latasha L. Briggs, all of Huntsville, AL; four grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren, all of Huntsville, AL; a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral service for Evangelist Jacqueline Diane Briggs will be Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Theodis Acklin officiating.
Public viewing: Friday, October 8, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
All attendees are required to wear face masks for the service of Evangelist Briggs.
