Obituary

Elbert "Pete" Clark, Jr. was born on May 26, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio to Elbert Clark, Sr. and the late Patricia Ann Servant. He went home to eternal peace and rest on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Ricky L. Sykes. Pete served in the United States Army and was later employed by the United Parcel Service (UPS) until he was disabled.

He was preceded in death by two daughters Tamika Clark and April Clark Dixon both of Huntsville, Alabama. One sister, Pamela J. Ealy of Dayton, Ohio.

He leaves to cherish his memories: three sons, Tavares Clark, Elbert "Pete" Clark III, and Albert Jarrell Clark (Antoinette) all of Huntsville, AL; father, Elbert (Bobbi) Clark, Sr.; fiancée, Karin Fields of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Bridgette Shepard (Louis) of Columbus, GA and Renee Love of Dayton, OH; two brothers, Felix Harris (Felicia) of Huntsville, AL and Todd Clark of Dayton, OH;  six grandchildren;  one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Elbert ("Pete") Clark, Jr. will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Lorenzo Moore officiating.  Interment will be in the Alabama National Cemetery (Montevallo, AL).
