Dennis James Sanders, 59, of Huntsville, Alabama transitioned home on August 8, 2021.  He was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi on February 9, 1962 to the late Freddie B. Sanders and the late Lena Bell Sanders.

He confessed hope in Christ at an early age. He spent a couple of decades dedicating time to become a great chef and he loved his profession of being a cook. He had a smile that would brighten up the sky. He  never met a stranger, but at the same time he was a very private person.  He earned his wings and is now in the loving arms of the Lord.

Dennis is preceded in death by: his parents, Freddie B. Sanders and Lena Bell Sanders; his grandparents, Sidney Foster and Idella Foster; his brothers, Johnny B. Foster, Freddie B. Sanders, Willie B. Sanders,    Earnest H. Sanders, and Stevie J. Sanders; stepbrother, Frank Sanders; and nephew, Khamani O. Sanders.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his sister, Inez Norris; his brothers, David L. Sanders, Richard L. Sanders, Christopher J. Sanders, and   Danny L. Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Graveside service for Mr. Dennis James Sanders will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
