David Clemons, Jr. was born on August 3, 1951 to the late David Clemons, Sr. and Mable "Totsie" Clemons in Madison County, Alabama. After an extended period of illness, he was called to rest on Saturday, February 6, 2021.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age. David had an outgoing personality; he never met a stranger. Because of his friendly nature, he had many friends and associates. He entered the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1976.

He was employed at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama and retired in 2012 after thirty years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mable and David Clemons, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Jason Clemons of Huntsville, AL and Jacquez Hatchett of Toney, AL; one sister, Inell Bone-Henderson; one niece, Nekiesha Bone-Edler; one great niece, Brielle Williams; one great nephew, Antoine Bone, Sr.; two great, great nieces, ZaMariyah and Karter Bone; and one great, great nephew, Antoine Bone, Jr. all of Virginia Beach, VA; three aunts, Rosa Lee Jefferson, Sadie Jefferson, and Mattie Jefferson, all of Huntsville, AL; and a host of cousins and friends.

Graveside service for Mr. David C. Clemons, Jr. will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
