OBITUARY

Mr . Davar Thomas Burnett was born on December 30, 1978, in Jonesboro, GA to Beverly G. Harris and Bryan D. Burnett. He transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital.

Mr. Burnett was educated in the Madison City School System and graduated from Bob Jones High School in 1998. He worked in the Automobile Detailing industry for numerous years. He enjoyed his profession and was very skilled in his craft. He was a hard worker and worked more than 20 years in this field.

Mr. Burnett confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ricky L. Sykes.

Mr. Burnett was preceded in death by his grandfathers , Mr. Walter Lightford, Sr. and Mr. Thomas J. Burnett; two cousins , Mr. Ramonte Burnett and Mr. Tracy L. Burnett; one aunt , Ms. Michelle Burnett; and one nephew , Mr. Trevon Burnett.

Those who remain to cherish the precious memories of Mr. Davar T. Burnett include: a wife , Mrs. Jamie Lynch, Huntsville, AL; one son , Mr. Bryson Burnett, Huntsville, AL; two daughters , Mrs. Trinity A. (Preston) Parikh and Ms. Serenity Lynch, both of Huntsville, AL; one grandchild , Mr. Lincoln Parikh, Huntsville, AL; a loving and devoted mother , Mrs. Beverly G. (John) Harris and father , Mr. Bryan D. Burnett, both of Huntsville, AL; two brothers , Mr. Douglas M. Burnett, Las Vegas, NV and Mr. Byron Burnett, Huntsville, AL; three stepbrothers , Mr. Quarry A. Harris, Chesapeake, VA, Mr. Asa C. Harris, and Mr. Alvion J. Harris, both of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandmothers , Mrs. Tildie M. (Howard) Gaines, Huntsville, AL, and Ms. Jannie E. Battle, Loraine, OH; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends .

Graveside service for Mr. Davar Thomas Burnett will be Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Memorial Park with Pastor Vincent M. Leslie, eulogist. Public Viewing:  Wednesday, July 6, 2022 - 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
