Funeral service for Mr. Claude C. Davis, Sr., will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Conley Chapel Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 30,2025 from 11:00AM-8:00PM with family visitation from 6:00-8:00PM.

Claude C. Davis was born on May 16, 1946 in Tuskegee, AL. to the union of Mr. James E. Davis and Mrs. Helen Howard Davis.  He wed Marian L. Jackson (Deceased) on 23 May 1970. Two sons were born into this marriage of over 20 years.  He wed again on December 30, 1995 to Ernestine Langford (Deceased), in a union that lasted for 5 years.  He departed this earth on May 19, 2025.

As a Aerospace Engineer, we worked on several key programs, such as SkyLab, the First International Microgravity Laboratory, the Saturn/Apollo 11, the Hubble Space Telescope Repair, the Space Station Freedom, and Multiple Space Shuttle Missions

He was a loyal and devoted member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and then became a member of the Knights of Peter Claver for 17 years. In addition, he was an active member of the Lay Salvatorians.

Claude C. Davis leaves to cherish his memories: brother, Milton Davis, Montgomery, AL; one son, Claude Jr., Brandon, FL; five grandchildren, Brittany, Michelle, Chelsea, Quincy, and Indya; one great-grandchild, Cryus Coughenour; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
