Betty Earskine was born Lizzie Betty Mastin in Huntsville, Alabama on May 14, 1942 to mother, Nancy B. Cloyd (Mastin) and father, Rev. Charlie A. Mastin.

Joined Mt. Olive M. B. Church in the late 1960s was called to preach and received her certificate of License June 2, 1996

She was preceded in death by: sisters, Georgia M. Moore, Charlie M. Bibbs, Frances L. Langford and Margert B. Bishop; and brother, John W. Mastin.

Left to cherish her memories are: one son, Anthony Mastin; two daughters, Aaronette Morris and Freida Fisher; two sisters, Marjorie N. Binford and Norma E. Lacy; one brother, William A. Mastin; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Earskine will be Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis Reed officiating.  Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
