Anthony Lynn Jones was born on August 8, 1965 in Decatur, Alabama to the late Catherine Jones and the late Tommie Lee Harris. Anthony made his transition from this life on January 1, 2022.

Anthony was preceded in death by: his mother, Catherine Jones; his father, Tommie Lee Harris; his grandfather, Fate Jones, Sr.; his grandmother, Edwenra Smith Jones; and his aunt, Carrie Jones of Huntsville, Alabama.

Anthony graduated from Bob Jones High Jones School and Alabama A&M University. Anthony resided in Huntsville, Alabama and worked for Huntsville Hospital for many years. Anthony was a very uplifting person who had a heart of gold.  To know him was to love him.  He was the life of the party.  During his free time, he enjoyed laughing, joking, fishing, singing, and spending time with loved ones.  But most of all, he loved music.

Anthony accepted Christ as his personal Savior in 2008 under the leadership of Pastor T. C. Johnson at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved wife Flordree Leslie Jones; two daughters, Catherine Jones and Ashley Jones of Mobile, AL; two stepsons, Fabian and Aaron; one stepdaughter, Erica; three devoted brothers, Michael Jones, Jerrold Jones, and Reginald Houston (Lela); one uncle, Billy Jones of Triana AL; three special friends, Spencer (JB), Johnathan (Bozz), and Scottie Boy; and a host of nieces, nephews, all of Huntsville, AL.

Funeral service for Mr. Anthony Lynn Jones will be Monday, January 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
