Mrs. Anglus V. Rice Hampton was born July 23, 1965 in Madison County, Alabama to the late Billy L. Rice, Sr. and Henrietta Fisher Rice.  She departed this life on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 1:30 P.M.

Anglus' journey of faith began at an early age. She attended Huntsville High School in 1977.  She was preceded in death by: her father Billy L. Rice, Sr.; one brother, Bobby Rice; and one sister, Momo Collier.

Anglus will be remembered by her ability to find laughter and seriousness in almost any circumstances. She loved her family. Especially her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

She leaves to cherish many memories to: her fiancé, Henry Jones, Jr.; two daughters, Stephanie Rice and Tiffany Hampton; one son, Itrene Hampton; two grandchildren, Christopher Strong, Jr. and Diamond Strong, all of Huntsville, AL; five brothers, Billy (Vanasa) Rice, Jr., Larry (Lydia) Rice, Michael B. Rice and Man Man Collier, all of Huntsville, AL, Shon Rice of California; one sister, Denise Lockhart of Huntsville, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Graveside service for Mrs. Anglus R. Hampton will be Friday, October 16, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Valley View Memory Gardens.
